Is A Black Hippy Album in the Works?
ScHoolboy Q breaks it down.
With ScHoolboy Q‘s fourth studio album Blank Face LP available for pruchase and barely a few days old, the promotional campaign and media tour behind the effort is in full swing. The “Groovy Tony” rapper has previously utilized his current press run to speak on social issues, his recent comments about his Miguel collaboration, his recent album also being a “depressed rap” project and more. Now, he’s opening up about the possibility of a joint album from the entire Black Hippy crew. Speaking to HNHH, Q says:
It’s just hard for us all to be in the same room cause we’re all busy now. I’m pretty sure a posse cut…but a Black Hippy album I dunno, I can’t say that. A posse cut for sure. That’s easy, one song, but a whole album, that’s hard.”
In other words, don’t get your hopes up. You can check out both clips from ScHoolboy Q’s HNHH interview below.
