Nike has returned this year with an update on its Free RN Commuter model. The 2018 Nike Free runner presents new technology and design specs, but keeps it classic with a debut “University Red” colorway.
The Free RN Commuter 2018 features a deconstructed yet durable stretch-knit upper, sock-like bootie profile, adjustable laces and a toggle and hook closure that lets you fine-tune the fit. Other details include premium black leather at the toe area and white, embroidered Nike branding in a collegiate-style font for a vintage touch. All of this is rounded out by an off-white Nike Free sole unit for classic, reliable cushioning.
The Nike Free RN Commuter 2018 in “University Red” will release on July 12 for $120 USD at Hibbett and select Swoosh retailers. For more sequel sneakers, take a first look at the Air Jordan 1 “B.O.G.” split-panel colorway.
