Converse‘s One Star has stood the test of time with its simple iconography — a star logo at the side quarter panels. While the model’s classic look remains a cult favorite, there’s always room for some experimentation, and thus enters the One Star CC Pro Ox.

The CC Pro Ox model keeps the same low-top build and suede construction as the original One Star, however, it shifts the signature star logo from the side panels to the heel. The tongue tab also gets reworked with less padding and embossed branding, and the side panel sees perforated detailing in place of the star. Finally, a traditional white rubber cupsole and gum waffle outsole anchor the shoe with some familiar cushioning.

The Converse One Star CC Pro Ox is available now in “Light Purple” and “Mustard Yellow” for $80 USD each at Premier and select Converse retailers. Let us know if you’re a fan of this design switch-up and for more classics with a twist, check out the 2018 Nike: ON AIR contest winners samples.
