Yasiin Bey (Mos Def) Reveals Plans for His Final Performance
The last concert of his career.

Last fall, Yasiin Bey — the artist formerly known as Mos Def — officially announced his retirement from the rap game. That major announcement was followed by news of a final tour and the “last album” of his career, Dec. 99th. Now, several months after the rollout for his exit from music began, Bey has revealed plans for his swansong as a live performer. While many artists have come back to music after announcing retirement, as of now, Yasiin Bey is set to perform his final set at Atlanta’s ONE MusicFest. Set to take place Friday, September 8 and Saturday, September 9 at the Lakewood Amphitheatre, ONE MusicFest will also feature performances from Kaytranada, Sean Paul, Thundercat, Jill Scott, Too Short and others.
