Peter Parker Mentors Miles Morales in New 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' Trailer
Spider-Gwen makes her big screen debut.
When Sony Pictures introduced the first trailer for the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, it was praised for its unique art style and focus on Miles Morales as Spidey. In the trailer above, this art style is further explored and also introduces the traditional Spider-Man, Peter Parker, as a man from an alternate universe showing Morales the ropes of being a web-slinger.
Its comic-inspired aesthetic isn’t the only nod to the books, as the highly popular Spider-Gwen, an alternate version of Parker’s former sweetheart, makes her big screen debut. Shameik Moore will portray Morales, Jake Johnson will voice Parker, and Bumblebee‘s Hailee Steinfeld is cast as Gwen as they take on Liev Schreiber‘s Kingpin.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse will hit theaters on December 14.
In related news, Spider-Man: Homecoming 2‘s plot has potentially been leaked.
