Shlohmo Remixes Hits by Young Thug, Mobb Deep, Migos, and More on 'For Tha Summer (Vol. XXVII)'

Just in time for the first day of summer, producer Shlohmo has dropped off a new mix, aptly entitled For Tha Summer (Vol. XXVII). The seven-song project features mellow versions of Future‘s “Mask Off,” Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatle,” and Mobb Deep‘s “Shook Ones,” among other recent hits. In regards to the Mobb Deep remix, Shlohmo took to Twitter to pay his respects to Prodigy after his passing and revealed that the “Shook Ones” mix was the first song he worked on for this tape months ago. The WeDidIt beatsmith also encouraged fans to put the playlist “on the big screen at the BBQ” and “put it on ur phone while u sleepin under that tree.” Check it out above.
