NEON SIGN Goes to College for Fall/Winter 2018
“SANDWICH MOOD” is packed with oversized sporty layers.

Following the brand’s latest range of effortless, slouchy summertime clothing, Asuka Hayashi’s NEON SIGN returns for Fall/Winter 2018. Styled by wünderkind Japanese creative Lambda Takahashi, the lookbook showcases a collection of athletic-inspired goods complemented by oversized tailoring.
Track jackets and pants are juxtaposed with branded quarter-zip pullovers, and the label’s signature relaxed denim helps balance bold yellow hoodies and orange polo shirts. NEON SIGN’s slogan, “The Pursue Of Cloth Arts,” is emblazoned on a bi-color sweater, while other graphic accents come in the form of tiny words on the chest of sweaters and oversized shirts, and the enormous collegiate-font “N” seen on stadium jackets and zip-up college knits. A heavy shearling jacket, huge puffer jacket, extended mac coat and a fuzzy toggle/zip hybrid coat ensure comfort in cold weather, with bold plaids to add colorful visual interest to shirting and harrington jackets.
Expect the range to hit stockists, like O Daikanyama’s web store, later this year.
