A New 'Diablo' Game Is Coming
And it most likely isn’t a port.
Blizzard has been hiring folks since 2017 for a Diablo project, and although rumors have suggested a Diablo III port is making its way to the Switch, it appears the project will be a new game entirely — at least according to a new job listing. The listing details Blizzard’s work on an unannounced Diablo title for which the developer is hiring Dungeon Artists to join its tight-knit team.
In 2016, the company was looking to hire a new game director for the franchise to “lead the Diablo series into the future,” and was looking for an art director for the very same unannounced project a year before. Could this announcement be part of the overwhelming leaks of upcoming announcements primed for E3? Stay tuned for more details.
