It appears the hip-hop community weren’t the only ones touched by the unexpected passing of Prodigy, who died this past Tuesday in Las Vegas due to complications with sickle cell anemia. Yesterday, Atlanta newscasters Mark Arum and Fred Blankenship took it upon themselves to pay their respects to the legendary Queensbridge rapper by referencing Mobb Deep lyrics into their live traffic report. The news duo managed to get off at least 10 lyrics and the slick inserts go from subtle to outright hilariously. Watch their tribute above.
