These new AirPods will include noise cancellation and water resistance, according to reports, with an over-the-ear model also hinted for a release.
The over-ear model was originally rumored to hit shelves this year, with the reports acknowledging its delay. A modest upgrade with wireless charging and hands-free Siri activation is still slated to debut this year, which utilizes a new case meant for Apple‘s upcoming Airpower wireless charging mat. The report also says a new HomePod model is expected to debut next year, although details on its new features are scarce.
