Marvel Confirms 'Ant-Man and the Wasp' Directly Connects to 'Avengers 4'
And how many post-credit scenes to expect.
As Ant-Man and the Wasp gears up for its big screen debut next week, Marvel has just released a new featurette confirming the film’s connection to next summer’s highly-anticipated Avengers 4.
In the two-minute clip posted above, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige revealed that the Ant-Man sequel “connects directly to Avengers 4.” The featurette also goes on to highlight more of the Quantum Realm and Hope’s (played by Evangeline Lilly) motivations in becoming the Wasp. Since Feige claims the sequel is directly connected to Avengers 4, perhaps fans can expect the Quantum Realm to play a big part in next summer’s blockbuster.
Also adding to the hype is Marvel’s signature post-credit scenes that have become somewhat of a staple in the franchise. After initial screenings of Ant-Man and the Wasp, Hollywood personality Brandon Davis included some huge news: fans can expect two post-credit scenes “you can’t afford to miss.” Davis also went on to state, “Ant-Man and The Wasp is Marvel’s best sequel since The Winter Solider. Evangeline Lilly is one of my new favorite super heroes. Mr Peyton Reed knocked it out of the park!! Tremendous movie!”
Ant-Man and the Wasp, which hits theaters July 6, is set to take place before the events of Infinity War. In more Marvel-related news, Tom Holland reveals upcoming Spider-Man: 2 film title.
