Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga & Dave Chappelle Connect for 'A Star Is Born'
The third ‘A Star Is Born’ remake is coming.
Warner Bros. has debuted the lead trailer for the anticipated new A Star Is Born remake.
Propelled by the all-star cast of Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, Dave Chappelle, Sam Elliott and Andrew Dice Clay, this year’s A Star Is Born serves as the 1937 Janet Gaynor original’s third remake — Judy Garland starred in a 1954 rework, and Barbra Streisand and KRis Kristofferson teamed up for a 1976 iteration. Like past versions, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s A Star Is Born shares the story behind the romantic and creative relationship between accomplished singer Jackson Maine (Cooper) and aspiring artist Ally (Gaga). Besides his lead actor role, Bradley Cooper also assumes the role of director, co-producer and screenplay co-writer. The film is based on William A. Wellman and Robert Carson’s 1937 story.
