After Wale and Atlantic Records amicably parted ways earlier this year, the hip-hop veteran has been enjoying the creative freedom of being an independent artist.

Today, May 8, the MMG rapper surprises fans with a new project titled Self Promotion. The new EP follows up his last extended play, It’s Complicated, which dropped in March. Self Promotion is a four-track project that includes tracks like “Negotiations,” “Salary Keep,” “Body Body Body” and “Cassius (Excellency).”
