The Internet Announces New Album Called 'Hive Mind'
“The actual internet is a hive mind, too.”
Following its return to music after a string of solo projects with “Roll (Burbank Funk)” and its subsequent KAYTRANADA remix, comes the official announcement of The Internet‘s upcoming album, Hive Mind.
Speaking on Sway In The Morning, where the announcement was made, member Matt Martians said: “A hive mind is a collective ego. When people are together they have a collective mindset. When we’re together we all have a common goal and we move in the same direction. The actual internet is a hive mind, too.”
The follow-up to 2015’s Ego Death, Hive Mind, is expected to arrive July 20. Until then, check out the visuals for their latest single.
