Sasquatchfabrix. & NEPENTHES Reunite for Eastern-Inspired CHILLING Collection

Sasquatchfabrix. CHILLING returns for Spring/Summer 2018. The off-again-on-again line, “designed by Daisuke Yokoyama, whenever he feels like it,” is released in partnership with NEPENTHES. Though the collection offered loungewear in past releases, this selection, dubbed “Kou-zatsu,” hews closer to signature Sasquatchfabrix. designs, reworking traditional Eastern items and silhouettes with a contemporary bent, yielding noragi-style jackets, loose hakama trousers and even obi-influenced waistbands. Accenting the range are a host of refined patterns, showcasing painted flowers and watercolor-like imagery of houses, complementing the graceful cuts with quietly beautiful prints. The drop even encompasses some striking accessories in the form of silver and beaded jewelry and paper fans.
There’s no word on a wider release, but the collection is currently available at a pop-up shop hosted by NEPENTHES Hakata.
