Nike's Cortez Dons the Mexican Flag's Colors Ahead of Cinco de Mayo
Ahead of the weekend’s festivities.
Nike‘s iconic Cortez model returns in a colorway perfect for the spring/summer. White leather takes up most of the upper with its heel, lateral and medial side branding are done in Pine Green. Habanero Red is added to the midsole and heel lettering with soft grey suede sharing a small portion of the heel panel. The aforementioned suede also makes its way onto the eyelets and down the middle of the toe box.
Donning a color scheme reminiscent of the Mexican flag, this edition of the Nike Cortez is currently available ahead of this weekend’s Cinco de Mayo festivities for $70 USD at select Nike retailers and nike.com. The classic silhouette has also received a White/Gym Blue iteration too.
