Microsoft Introduces Surface Hub 2 With Massive 50'' Screen
The new model allows for life-sized video chat.
Microsoft‘s Surface Hub was a piece of technology designed for office work, something that had little usage outside of business practices. The Surface Hub 2 follows in that trend, but is making a much bigger splash thanks to its streamlined shape, streamlined touchscreen and high-end features.
Offering a huge 50.5-inch screen and 4K resolution, the Surface Hub 2 looks more like a widescreen TV than upmarket PC. The system has been designed with functionality in mind, ranging from a 3:2 display that makes it easy to reach the top, to Steelcase-designed cases and mounts, to its rotational screen allowing for near-life-size video chatting. Multiple-unit synchronicity allows for a wide set up of uses for any scale of business, small or large.
