Following its ambitious Bright film, Netflix looks to produce another Hollywood action movie, this time starring Deadpool 2‘s Ryan Reynolds with direction from Michael Bay. The movie, Six Underground, will be written by Rhett Reese and another Deadpool 2 talent, Paul Wernick.

As of now, there are no details on what the movie will be about, however, it’s being reported that Netflix has put up $150 million USD to produce the film. Coming off the news that it intends to possibly spend $7 billion USD on content this year, Netflix’s announcement follows other expensive content in the works like Lord of the Rings from Amazon, whose rights alone cost Bezos and company $250 million USD.

In other Netflix news, the Obamas are set to produce shows and films for the streaming giant.
