MGMT Announce Comeback Album 'Little Dark Age'
The long-awaited comeback is on the horizon.
As we reported last fall, MGMT pushed back their anticipated comeback one more year. Now, with the summer upon us, the popular duo have introduced their new studio album. Titled Little Dark Age, the LP has been introduced via a brief teaser posted to Instagram. “We want you to be excited. Here’s a ‘making of’ teaser video by @avidmacnutt to wet your whistles with audio visual scraps from the germination of the forthcoming album LITTLE DARK AGE,” reads the post’s caption. MGMT’s last major release was the July 2016 cover of Suicide’s “Goodbye Darling;” their last official album was 2013’s self-titled effort.
