Shaquille O'Neal to Grace the Cover of 'NBA 2K18 Legend Edition'
“This ain’t over Kobe.”
A new 2K season is quickly approaching. In order to build the hype, it has been officially announced that Shaquille O’Neal will be the cover athlete for NBA 2K18’s Legend Edition. To reveal the news, Shaq made the announcement press conference style with a little help from an old teammate. “The Diesel” took the stage with two variants of the cover accompanying him while he read his speech off of the teleprompter. As he continues to address the public, the script changes to O’Neal giving more than enough credit to Kobe Bryant, who is then revealed to be the one behind the teleprompter joke.
NBA 2K18’s Legend Edition marks O’Neal’s third cover and will be available in normal or gold options for a retail price of $100 and $150 USD, respectively. Both are accompanied by bonuses such as Shaq’s jersey collection, Shaq Attaq shoes, championship ring, additional VC and much more.
NBA 2K18 is currently available for pre-order here, which will grant you early access on September 15, ahead of its global launch date on September 19.
