Justin Bieber became the first artist in Billboard 100 history to take his own no. 1 spot in consecutive weeks with the release of his feature on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee‘s “Despacito.” The record comes just a week after the pop star appeared on DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One,” featuring Chance the Rapper, Quavo and Lil Wayne. The last act to come close to what Bieber achieved? The Beatles back in 1964: on March 21 of that year the band released “She Loves You” and two weeks later “Can’t Buy Me Love” overtook it, meaning Bieber beat that record by a week.

It’s been a good year for the resurgent star, who recently featured in a piece on the richest people on Earth according to their year of birth.
