The “More Life” producer shares his daily must-haves.
His buzz has been slowly growing over the last few years, and it’s safe to say that 2017 is shaping up to be Murda Beatz‘ biggest year yet. His production credits this year alone include two tracks from Drake’s acclaimed More Life album (the meme-inducing “Portland” and the Giggs-assisted banger “No Long Talk”), his first US-number one with Nicki Minaj’s “No Frauds,” and even a Zayn Malik record, and the 23-year-old Canadian is showing no signs of slowing.
While he spends most of his time now bouncing between Toronto, Los Angeles, Miami, London and wherever else his busy work schedule takes him, Murda keeps a small collection of daily essentials by his side at all times. With a penchant for the finer things in life, Murda’s jewelry and Goyard accessories are a must. His Sager laptop might not be the most compact personal computer to lug around the globe but more importantly it can meet all of his complex needs when it comes to beatmaking. His longtime friends and collaborators the Migos join him in Rap Snack form, as does a stack of Canadian hundreds and his passport to ensure he’s always prepared to jump on the next flight.
