Han Kjøbenhavn Prepares Technical Military Gear for Spring/Summer 2018
Renaissance-era artwork replaces camouflage.
Copenhagen’s Han Kjøbenhavn first teased its tactical Spring/Summer 2018 collection earlier this year, and now offers a look at the complete range. Drawing inspiration from outdoors attire and military clothing, the assortment boasts plenty of pockets, zippers and functional tweaks.
Rather than sourcing a camo pattern for the range, Han Kjøbenhavn printed a host of goods with earth-toned renaissance artwork, achieving a similarly muted look with a more refined aesthetic. A selection of clothing sports the print, including elastic-hem trousers, short coats and even a short-sleeved shirt. Bolstered by hefty military and desert boots, the slim pants place extra emphasis on the substantial layers, which range from bomber jackets and waterproof coats to a strap-mounted carrier vest. Han Kjøbenhavn branding and a coat of arms appear on select caps and layering pieces, further emphasizing the relaxed flair of a velvet track top and washed selvedge denim.
Expect the goods to hit Han Kjøbenhavn’s web shop shortly.
