Bethesda Releases Official Teaser Trailer for 'Fallout 76' Ahead of E3
Cut to the tune “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”
Following a Twitch stream reveal, Bethesda has announced the next entry in the Fallout franchise, Fallout 76. The title will focus on Vault 76 (mentioned in both Fallout 4 and Fallout 3), which is one of 17 planned “control” vaults with a capacity of 500. Unbeknownst to the inhabitants, it was designed to open 20 years after any nuclear war.
The speculation is that the game will take place closer to the nuclear war aftermath than any previous Fallout entry, and will be set in the Washington, DC area. An online component is also rumored to be incorporated. Bethesda has yet to release gameplay footage, though more information is expected to become available at E3 2018.
