Gucci Mane & Metro Boomin Unveil 'Drop Top Wop' Lead Single "Hurt A N*gga Feelings"
Debuted via a new visual.
For Gucci Mane, the grind never stops — even if the State decides to throw him behind bars for a year or two. Following today’s announcement regarding the Trap God’s new Drop Top Wop project, Gucci Mane has shared the first single in support of the album. Reconnecting with the project’s primary and executive producer Metro Boomin, Guwop debuts the Drop Top Wop opening cut “Hurt A N*gga Feelings” via a new visual. For their latest joint offering, Metro Boomin’s sinister synth work and trap-rap drums lead the way as Gucci delivers bars about his come-up, the life of luxury he leads, and his dominance in the rap game. Like he raps in “Hurt A N*gga Feelings,” Guwop is trying to break hearts with his bank account and his extravagant, flamboyant tastes in jewelry and designer gear.
You can check out Gucci Mane and Metro Boomin’s “Hurt A N*gga Feelings” here, while Drop Top Wop will arrive this Friday, May 26. Earlier this month, Gucci Mane linked up with Migos to throw a pool party for the “Slippery” video and joined longtime close collaborator Zaytoven for a special, intimate live set. The Atlanta legend’s last project was January’s 3 For Free EP.
