END. & Saucony Partner on Lobster-Themed Sneaker
The Grid 8500 takes to the sea.
After last month’s Wood Wood collaboration, U.K. retailer END. has teamed up with Massachusetts-based label Saucony for a lobster-influenced sneaker. Taking on the brand’s Grid 8500 silhouette, the collaboration pays tribute to the creature, a special delicacy on the East Coast shoreline that Saucony hails from.
The lobster is referenced in the colorway, which sees two tones of orange — “Jaffa” and “Orange Peel” — used across the upper. Construction includes a range of different textiles, with suede and leather on the upper and a weathered patina leather material on the tongue and collar. Lastly, the sneaker is finished with alternative blue laces and claw-printed insoles. You can register to get your hands on the sneaker via the END. Launches platform now, with the END. x Saucony Grid 8500 “Lobster” set to drop on May 11.
