Avicii's Tragic Suicide: More Details Emerge

Details are now being revealed about the sudden death of Avicii. The beloved DJ and producer, whose real name was Tim Bergling, took his own life by using a shard of glass from a broken wine bottle, reports TMZ. Avicii, who passed at age 28, was found dead in Muscat, Oman. Police initially reported that there was “no criminal suspicion” and a statement released by Avicii’s family alluded to suicide. “He could not go on any longer. He wanted to find peace,” read the statement.
Avicii retired from live performances back in 2016 due to health problems stemming from acute pancreatitis after getting his gall bladder and appendix removed in 2014. In a documentary titled Avicii: True Stories released in October, he repeatedly said that touring was going to get him killed and that he was being pressured to continue.
