After debuting a new poster and teaser trailer featuring the cast of the Avengers asking “where were Ant-Man and the Wasp?” — regarding their absence in Infinity War – Marvel Studios has finally released the second full-length trailer for this summer’s highly-anticipated sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Though it’s speculated that the events of Ant-Man and the Wasp occur before Infinity War, the new trailer posted above helps to finally shine some light on the whereabouts of the duo. Ant-Man and the Wasp marks the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will then be followed by Captain Marvel early next year.
Paul Rudd returns as the pivotal character alongside Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp. Michael Douglas and Michael Peña also return with newcomers Walton Goggins, Laurence Fishburne and Michelle Pfeiffer as the original Wasp. Last week, Marvel introduced the villain of the film, Ghost portrayed by Ready Player One‘s Hannah John-Kamen.
