After dropping its “Summer” pack of Fusion 2.0 sneakers, Finnish footwear label Karhu has returned with a new archival-inspired release. The “Laulujoutsen” capsule is heavily influenced by the color palette and materials — soft yellow nylon, light grey suede and dark grey ‘M’ logo — of a sneaker that originally dropped back in 1985.
This colorway is reminiscent of the Finnish whooper swan — or Laulujoutsen — which gives the pack its name, and has been transferred onto three Karhu silhouettes. The new capsule includes the Aria, Fusion 2.0 and Albatross sneakers, each of which comes in soft pigskin grey suede and features tonal hits of yellow. The full pack is set to drop via the Karhu web store and at select stockists on May 4.
