Back in August of last year, we shared that the Air Jordan 2 “Melo” would be making a comeback. Today, news has emerged of the retro’s release date. Originally seen on-foot during Carmelo Anthony‘s days as a member of the Denver Nuggets, his special PE will return next month. The White/Columbia Blue-Varsity Maize sneaker first hit retail shelves back in April of 2004.

This year, the Air Jordan 2 “Melo” PE will arrive on June 9 for $190 USD at select Jordan Brand retailers. Let us know your thoughts on its resurgence and if you plan on copping.

You can also take a look at the recent return of the Jordan Melo 1.5 SE “Hoodie Melo.”
