Tour The Surface of the Moon With NASA's 4K Resolution Video
With data provided by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft.
NASA is always thinking of new ways to get us to be more excited about space exploration. With the help of the agency’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft, we now have access to a virtual tour of the moon in an astonishing 4K video resolution. As viewers watch the vid, they’ll also get some interesting data provided about the astronomical body such as temperatures and impact craters.
The video is backed by the Killers track “Never Looking Back” and “Flying Over Turmoil” by Benjamin Krause & Scott Goodman. For the creatives out there, the video is actually public domain. If you’re looking for more on the topic of space, check out some great photos of the SpaceX launches.
