Mac DeMarco Gets in His Feelings For "One More Love Song"
‘This Old Dog’ is set to arrive next week.
One week before the release of Mac DeMarco‘s third studio album This Old Dog, the 26-year-old singer-songwriter has dropped off one last single in support of the project. A couple weeks after the release of “On The Level,” DeMarco woozily wanders through his emotions for “One More Love Song.” “Sometimes [love songs] come from a specific place, but in a lot of instances they could just be plucked out of the air,” DeMarco tells SiriusXMU. “Have you ever been in love then out of love? There’s a whole gamut of emotions that come with that changing of the guard. And you don’t forget them, ‘cause they suck, or they rock, and you don’t forget things that rock or suck. So, maybe you pluck from something a long time ago, and the great thing is that everyone understands.”
