Kid Cudi Returns With a New Track, "The Rage"

As fans eagerly await for his long-anticipated joint album with Kanye West, the Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin artist has now emerged with a new record titled, “The Rage.” Produced by Dot Da Genius and Ben Billions, the track isn’t quite an album single Cudi loyalists were all hoping for, but instead, a song off the upcoming soundtrack for The Rock’s new movie, Rampage, which is out in theaters tonight.
The song is a mixture of prior sound aesthetics from Kid Cudi ranging from the trademark atmospheric hooks to his hypnotic hums. Listen in below and in case you haven’t heard, Cudi was also recently spotted in Wyoming where Kanye West has been reportedly recording his new album alongside a cohort of music notables that include Nas, Mike Dean, Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, The-Dream, Pi’erre Bourne, King Louie, Jeff Bhasker and Wheezy.
