adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Returns for an Imperfect Collection
Featuring pixelated graphics, uneven printing, and perma-wrinkled fabrics.
American fashion designer Alexander Wang once again teams up with adidas Originals on a collaborative range of activewear items. For the pairing’s Season 3 Drop 1, the unisex looks include a new wave of athletic gear inspired by manufacturing errors and unique flaws that are created during the process.
The 13-piece range consisting of track jackets, crewnecks, tees, shorts, a poncho, and bandana feature pixelated graphics, uneven printing, and perma-wrinkled fabrics. Black, white and burgundy are prominently featured in the collection with bright red pixilated graphics adding a hit of contrast. Each item is then branded with adidas Originals by Alexander Wang‘s signature upside-down adidas Trefoil.
The collection will also include the entirely new AW Bball Soccer shoe, which remixes an iconic adidas Football shoe upper by placing it atop an adidas BOOST midsole. Available in either black or red, the new silhouette is crafted from suede and dressed in adidas’ Three Stripes branding and an upside-down “adidas” motif found on the tongue tab.
