Korean Artist Novo Reveals Nike Free RN Inspired by Seoul
Featuring hand-drawn motifs across an off-white upper.

As part of Nike‘s “Free Expression” campaign, Korean artist Novo has given his spin on the Free RN silhouette. Taking inspiration from Seoul, the sneaker comes with an off-white upper decorated with a range of hand-drawn illustrations inspired by the speed, freedom and hope Novo experiences working in Seoul.
The new motifs include a paper airplane, as well as slogans such as “Hope Run Seoul” and “You Me City.” Discussing the collaboration, Nike explained Novo’s influences: “To keep pace, visual artist Novo works hard and fast, which leaves him with a constant sense of fatigue. It also brings him hope. Because at the end of each day, that rewarding, welcome fatigue means he’s made big strides towards his dreams.” The Novo x Nike Free RN is available now from the Nike Korea web store.
