Tattoo Artist JonBoy Launches First Independent Clothing Collection
The artist’s Desert Capsule incorporates references to his artwork, the ’90s and music festivals.
JonBoy may be best known for his celebrity fans and much sought-after tattoo art, but now he’s shifting into a new realm: the celebrated artist is dropping his first-ever clothing collection. The Desert Capsule encompasses wearables like T-shirt, biker shorts and a windbreaker, reflecting JonBoy’s interest in vintage sportswear pieces from the ’80s and ’90s. Accompanying the clothes are accessories like a face mask, bandana, shoulder bag and lighter, several of which offer 3M accents. Imagery seen throughout the range blends JonBoy’s own art with music festival-influenced imagery, juxtaposing Old English-style typography with tribal patterns akin to those seen in his tattoos.
