Sam Smith Enlists Logic for Official "Pray" Remix
“We are all looking around at what’s happening in the world.”
Last October, Sam Smith supported his The Thrill of It All album with a standout single titled “Pray.” Produced by Timbaland and created alongside Smith’s close collaborator Jimmy Napes, the song has become one of the artist’s biggest solo records in recent memory. Further supporting the popular cut, the British singer has linked up with Logic for the official “Pray” remix.
“We are all looking around at what’s happening in the world and it is just messed up,” Smith tells Complex, breaking down his new release’s origins. “You’ve got no choice but to look up to the sky and put your hands together and pray for something to happen.” For his contribution, Logic wears his emotions on his sleeve and bares his soul, rapping about the trials and tribulations he’s faced.

Earlier this month, Logic’s latest LP, Bobby Tarantino II, landed at no. 1 on the Billboard charts. He’s also been embroiled in a beef with Joyner Lucas.
