Matty of BADBADNOTGOOD Shares First Solo Single, "Embarassed"
The BBNG band member makes his debut.
Matty Tavares needs no introduction when it comes to his skills as a producer and multi-instrumentalist. With BADBADNOTGOOD, he’s helped to reinvigorate the jazz genre and, nowadays, he’s embarking on a new solo career under the moniker of his first name, Matty. Today, he shares his first solo single, which finds him expanding upon what fans of his work with BADBADNOTGOOD might expect: cues from the psychedelic pop of The Zombies, jazz fusion of Soft Machine and synth-pop textures of Toro Y Moi, all while sounding distinctly Matty.
