Mark Zuckerberg Declines to Face Questions From U.K. Parliament

As the scandal over the Cambridge Analytica revelations continues, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has declined to answer questions from U.K. lawmakers. The U.K. parliament requested Zuckerberg’s presence to answer questions in relation to data abuse in the aftermath of the scandal.
According to reports, Zuckerberg “has personally asked one of his deputies to make themselves available to give evidence in person,” although the relevant lawmakers have invited him to answer questions over video link. Zuckerberg and Facebook are yet to reply to this request. Since the news broke, Zuckerberg has addressed the controversy in a status as well as taking out a full-page newspaper advert to apologize for Facebook’s role.
In other news related to the scandal, Elon Musk has deleted Tesla and SpaceX’s Facebook pages.
