KICKS LAB. Crafts an ASICS GEL-Lyte III Fit for a Ninja
Meet the “KL-Shinobi.”
Just last month, KICKS LAB. linked up with adidas to put its own strapped spin on the Three Stripes’ iconic shell-toed silhouette, essentially introducing its own mid-top Superstar. Now, before March comes to a close, the Tokyo-based sneaker purveyor is joining forces with yet another collaborative partner: ASICS. The result? A slick GEL-Lyte III.
A GEL-cushioned low-top fit for a ninja, the aptly named “KL-Shinobi” opts for a clean combination of black, grey, and white, employing the greyscale look across the likes of premium leather and suede paneling. Additional details include an icy outsole and custom insoles, both of which house Japanese characters that pay further homage to the silent mercenaries.
Expect the “KL-Shinobi” to land at KICKS LAB. on March 31 in limited quantities.
