The 'Dragon Ball Super' Movie Has a New Teaser Trailer
Drop everything.
Dragon Ball Super is coming to a close, and while folks celebrate shirtless Goku versus shirtless Jiren live in Latin America, Toei Animation has dropped a new teaser for its upcoming film. The film features a new, more fluid animation style, highlighted in our first look at Goku. As he warms up with a smile on his face, we can see his icy surroundings as well as his opponent, who appears to be wearing Saiyan armor.
Many speculate this enemy to be the original Legendary Super Saiyan, but not Broly, the figure Vegeta spoke of recalling the legend of the Super Sayain way back on Planet Namek. We then see the mysterious man power-up before Goku launches an assault and the two fighters clash, ending the video. Many fans refer to this legendary Saiyan as Yamoshi, who made the briefest of appearances in 2013’s Battle of Gods during Beerus’ dream of the Super Saiyan God prophecy.
There is a rumor that Akira Toriyama, having involvement with the upcoming movie, has also designed the new antagonist, which can be seen in the picture below. Check out the visuals above and share your thoughts in the comments.
In related news, a new PvP Dragon Ball game is coming to mobile.
