Mr. Rogers Documentary Trailer Gives a Heartwarming Look at an American Icon

Fred Rogers, better known to most as Mr. Rogers, will be the subject of a new documentary based on his lasting legacy. Titled Won’t You Be My Neighbor, the project focuses on Rogers’s eponymous television show and his contribution to the world as a role model for children. Included in the doc will be interviews and never-before-seen footage of Rogers being a shining example of great moral compass both on and off the screen.

Recently, it was said that Tom Hanks will be playing Mr. Rogers in an upcoming biopic. It will be produced by TriStar and titled You Are My Friend. Production for that film begins this fall while the documentary, directed by Morgan Neville, will be released on June 8 of this year.
