Iggy Azalea Takes You to Church in Video for Quavo-Assisted Single "Savior"
The song is off her ‘Surviving the Summer’ album.
Iggy Azalea drops the video for her Quavo-featuring single “Savior.” The Australian rapper — who recently announced that she transitioned from Def Jam Recordings to Island Records — can be seen in a church with an illuminated halo above her head. Quavo did not make an appearance in the visual.
She took to Twitter to explain that “Savior” isn’t about “needing a man or a woman to come and save you in a relationship,” but rather about you as “your own savior and finding your own strength within yourself to figure it the fuck out.”
“Savior” will appear on Iggy Azalea’s sophomore album, Surviving the Summer, which doesn’t have a current release date. Her debut album, The New Classic, came out in 2014. Until the LP comes out, watch the video above.
