For Versus Versace‘s previous autumnal release, Fall/Winter 2017 saw the label’s designers pull their inspiration from the young creatives of the modern era, employing influential artists like Hunter Schafer and London’s Wilson Oryema for modeling roles. Specifically, a “premium gamut of outerwear, knits, footwear, and accessories” was introduced. Now, for Versus Versace’s Fall/Winter 2018 effort, the brand is aiming for a collection primarily influenced by Gianni Versace’s archival gems.
As Vogue notes, the latest from the label include reproductions of the classic Versus logo, several nods to vintage pieces and progressive, fashion-forward offerings. Notably, the monochrome checkerboard Damier is featured prominently here, giving the presentation a cohesive, eye-catching aesthetic to tie everything together.
