COC CUBE Draws Influence From Science Fiction for Spring/Summer 2018
Inspired by George Orwell and Stanley Kubrick.
Chinese label COC CUBE goes technical for Spring/Summer 2018, taking cues from science fiction creators Stanley Kubrick and George Orwell. Orwell’s 1984 and Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange influence the designs on display throughout the range, with the original name for Orwell’s novel, “THE LAST MAN IN EUROPE,” appearing in a variety of stylized prints. Elsewhere, tailoring is reworked, with double breasted jackets and matching shorts cut boxy and loose, with a host of shirting options complementing the patterned suiting. Slouchy track pants and wide cargos help anchor the oversized T-shirts and strappy accessories, which range from shoulder bags to a skirt-like attachment.
