Mercedes-AMG has just unveiled an updated fleet for the C63 AMG. As the car manufacturer’s best-selling model series, the update further improves on performance with regards to the vehicle’s exterior and interior. Powering the updated Mercedes-AMG C63 is a 4.0-liter, biturbo V8 engine that is capable of producing 510 hp at 5500 rpm, and has a peak torque of 516 lb-ft. at 2000-5000 rpm. Like all C63 models that have come before this, the vehicle will only be offered in rear-wheel-drive, only this time the engine is matched with a AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission that has an electronically controlled rear-axle limited-slip differential. Sharing close DNA with its flagship sibling, the Mercedes-AMG GT, the 2019 Mercedes-AMG C63 offers power and sportiness, but with comfort and long-distance travel in mind.
