The annual Afropunk Festival is returning this year for another weekend celebration filled with yet another lineup of incredible performers. This afternoon, Afropunk unveiled their official Brooklyn lineup, which will be headlined by Tyler, the Creator, Erykah Badu, Miguel and Janelle Monae. In addition, they’ll be joined by the likes of Daniel Caesar, The Internet, Jaden and Willow Smith and The Internet, amongst others. Afropunk 2018 Brooklyn will take place on August 25-26 at Commodore Barry Park in Fort Greene with tickets available now through the festival’s site.

According to the Afropunk’s site, this year’s theme is “The People Resist,” which is a message meant to bring together “AFROPUNK ideology and the people who support it, in resistance to those that strive to opress.” Meanwhile, the festival has also unveiled its Atlanta lineup, which is just as impressive. Names like N.E.R.D., Little Simz, Noname and Kari Faux are among the first wave of artists to be announced. The third edition of AFROPUNK Presents the Carnival of Consciousness, Atlanta will take place on October 13 and 14.
