Mac DeMarco Performs Drum Cover of Radiohead's "High And Dry"
Trading places with his drummer.
With his North American tour currently in full swing, Mac DeMarco and his band were in Chile’s Lollapalooza last week where they performed an impromptu rendition of Radiohead’s 1995 classic, “High And Dry.” Apparently, Thom Yorke’s verse was a little too extreme for DeMarco’s vocal range as he switched roles with his drummer, Joe Murray, who ended up singing the song with DeMarco lacing up the percussions.
The end result was seemingly a success as the crowd partook in a massive singalong and, from the looks of the faces he was making on the drums, Mac appeared to be having the time of life as well. Press play to watch above see why Mac DeMarco’s On “The Level” made our list of Top 10 Songs of 2017.
