A Closer Look at Balenciaga's Newest Sneaker
The silhouette debuted at the Fall/Winter 2018 show.

Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2018 show had several talking points, from the OTT layering to the hotline that you can actually call, but perhaps the most intriguing element was the unveiling of the brand’s latest sneakers. The brand has already had success with both the Speed Trainer and the Triple S silhouettes and now it looks set to continue creating new shapes for fans to buy.
This shoe is a more subdued shape than the Triple S and appears to be based on classic hiking sneakers made by the likes of Salomon and Mizuno. Instead of super-sizing the shoe, this time there’s multiple overlays on the upper, which increases the amount of possible colorways that could be introduced in the future. As of right now there’s very little information on the shoe, but it should be expected to drop when the full collection does in July this year.
