Raf Simons' Latest Eastpak Collaboration Showcased in New Editorial
Another look at the ‘Blade Runner’-inspired baggage capsule.
After releasing earlier this year, Raf Simons‘ latest collaboration with Eastpak is spotlighted in a new editorial. The full collection was initially unveiled as part of the Belgian designer’s New York Fashion Week show in June last year, and — similarly to that collection — mixes Asian influences with references to Blade Runner.
The joint capsule features a number of different of styles, with the editorial particularly focusing on the RS Padded and RS Functional bags. The RS Padded comes in a durable duck canvas and features a zip cover-turned-hood and a custom-designed inner lining for each colorway. The other spotlighted style — the RS Functional — is inspired by workwear design and comes with industrial metal hardware and rope cords.
